Shin Ye Eun's Doctor Who Fashion Revealed

Actress Shin Ye-eun shared photos taken outdoors on social media ahead of the premiere of the new ENA drama ‘Doctor Smboy’. In the photos, Shin Ye-eun is wearing a white maxi dress with delicate floral embroidery, her shiny bob haircut, clear skin, and floral dress styling reminiscent of a real-life ‘Snow White’. Netizens reacted to Shin Ye-eun’s appearance with comments like, “My heart can’t handle seeing the cute and bubbly Ha-ri,” and “Her loveliness is at a lethal dose.” Shin Ye-eun plays the role of nurse Yuk Ha-ri in ‘Doctor Smboy’.

‘Doctor Smboy’ is a medical human romance drama depicting the story of public health doctor Do Ji-han (played by Lee Jae-wook), who arrives on the island of ‘Pyeondongdo’, an island everyone avoids, and the secretive nurse Yuk Ha-ri (played by Shin Ye-eun). It is based on the webtoon , which is currently popular on KakaoPage and Kakao Webtoon. The drama will premiere on ENA on June 1st at 10 PM and will also be available on KT Genie TV and Disney Plus.

Fashion magazine Elle released couple pictorials with the lead actors of the new ENA Monday-Tuesday drama ‘Doctor Smboy,’ Lee Jae-wook and Shin Ye-eun. The pictorial was conducted in an atmosphere as if the two were on a trip, capturing their natural and lovely chemistry. In an interview, Lee Jae-wook said that ‘Doctor Smboy’ “feels even more special as it will likely be my last project in my twenties,” and expressed his enjoyment of filming with Shin Ye-eun, who is the same age. He described the project as “a work that embraces the warm message that people comfort and grow through each other.”

Shin Ye-eun shared that the “way she views the world beautifully was appealing” about the character Yuk Ha-ri, and recalled many moments on set that were so enjoyable she had trouble holding back her laughter. Expressing the characters’ growth, she added, “Ultimately, I felt that everyone desires happiness.” Lee Jae-wook confessed about the project, “I shed a lot of tears while filming. It was a work I had that much affection for,” and “It’s a time that will remain in my memory for a long time because I learned to love myself more.” Shin Ye-eun also stated, “At first, I was nervous, but at some point, I found myself naturally existing as Yuk Ha-ri,” and expressed her aspiration to become an actress who comfortably blends into the set.

Lee Jae-wook praised Shin Ye-eun, saying, “I was grateful that Shin Ye-eun acted as Ha-ri herself. Her quiet dedication even in difficult environments was impressive.” Shin Ye-eun reciprocated, describing Lee Jae-wook as “a very meticulous person.
