Park Bo Gum & Kim Yoo Jung: 'Love in the Moonlight' 10th Anniversary Special

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the popular drama 'Love in the Moonlight,' a special entertainment program featuring the main cast is in preparation. Filming is scheduled for early August, and lead actors including Park Bo-gum, Kim Yoo-jung, Jin Young, Chae Soo-bin, and Kwak Dong-yeon are in discussions to participate. The broadcast schedule has not yet been determined.

'Love in the Moonlight,' a youth historical drama aired in 2016, depicted the palace romance between Crown Prince Lee Yeong (Park Bo-gum) and Hong Ra-on (Kim Yoo-jung), a cross-dressing eunuch. It garnered immense popularity, recording a peak viewership rating of 23.3%, and Park Bo-gum and Kim Yoo-jung solidified their positions as top youth stars by winning the Best Couple Award at the '2016 KBS Drama Awards' for their roles.

Even after the drama concluded, the actors have maintained their strong friendship. Despite their busy schedules, they have kept in touch and continued their bond, even gathering together earlier this year to showcase their special loyalty. Park Bo-gum invited the 'Love in the Moonlight' team to 'The Seasons – Park Bo-gum's Kantabile,' his first MC debut stage, stating, "The drama was also on KBS, wasn't it? I'm grateful for their initial support." He expressed his affection, saying, "When I told them I was taking on the MC role and asked if they were free on the 11th for a quiet time to make a memory, they readily agreed, which made me even more excited."

Park Bo-gum remarked at the time, "I'm happy to be able to host them. I've prepared a stage where they can leave a good impression. Please look forward to it," boasting of their unwavering teamwork.
