Korean Investor Buys SK Hynix Stock for $2,000

Entertainer Mija announced that she is investing in SK Hynix again. Mija posted on her social media account, "I just got into Hynix," along with a screenshot of her purchasing SK Hynix for 2.7 million won, stating, "​If I lose this time, I have no life stocks."

Mija, the daughter of actor Jang Gwang, recently confessed on a YouTube channel that she suffered approximately 100 million won in losses from stock investments made while dining with her husband Kim Tae-hyun and younger sibling Jang Young. At the time, Kim Tae-hyun mentioned that he couldn't invest in Samsung Electronics or Hynix because they had risen too much, so he invested in construction stocks and saw a minus 20% loss within a few days. Mija had predicted that construction stocks would rise first after the war between the US and Iran ended, but contrary to her prediction, the stock price declined.

On the other hand, Mija's younger sibling Jang Young, who invested with her, revealed that he recently saw a profit of over four times from SK Hynix. Jang Young invested 490,000 won in SK Hynix, meaning Mija bought one share for more than five times Jang Young's investment amount at 2.7 million won.

Mija, along with a screenshot showing SK Hynix stock at 2.7 million won, honestly admitted her reason for buying, saying, "I don't know. I just got in after seeing it rise like this," which drew laughter. Meanwhile, SK Hynix surged over 8% during intraday trading that day, touching the '2.7 million Hynix' for the first time in history.

Mija previously confessed to losing about 100 million won in stock investments, and upon hearing the news of her latest SK Hynix purchase, one fan reacted by saying, "I'm sorry, but please leave quickly." Additionally, Mija's post regarding her investment situation caught attention when she wrote, "This time will be different."
