K-Drama 'The Good Bad Mother' Hits 7% Rating

The TVING original drama 'Becoming a Legendary Mess Hall Soldier,' starring actor Park Ji-hoon, recorded a viewership rating of 7.2% for its third episode, breaking its own highest rating. This is a 1%P increase from the 6.2% rating of the second episode. The 12-episode drama is based on a popular webtoon of the same name and is a military cooking fantasy drama depicting the process of Private Kang Sung-jae (played by Park Ji-hoon) becoming a legendary mess hall soldier.

The third episode depicted Kang Sung-jae overcoming the crisis of a reassignment. Previously, Kang Sung-jae failed to persuade the company commander by making pork cutlets. However, in an unexpected incident of a North Korean resident defecting, the pork cutlets he fried played a crucial role in leading to the defection. Recognized for this achievement, Kang Sung-jae succeeded in transferring from mess hall assistant to an official mess hall soldier.
