Kang Dong Won, Uhm Tae Goo, Park Ji Hyun Form Co-Ed Group

Kang Dong-won, Um Tae-goo, and Park Ji-hyun have teamed up as the co-ed dance group 'Triangle' for the comedy film '​Wild Thing', which is set to premiere on June 3rd. Character posters and a trailer have been released. The movie tells the story of the three-member co-ed dance group 'Triangle', which dominated the music scene but disbanded due to an incident, now getting a chance to make a comeback after 20 years.

The released character posters showcase the individual charms of Kang Dong-won (as Hyun-woo), Um Tae-goo (as Sang-goo), and Park Ji-hyun (as Do-mi). Kang Dong-won exudes a unique aura as the 'Dance Machine' against a red background, Um Tae-goo displays swag as the 'Storm Rapper' on a blue background, and Park Ji-hyun radiates charm as the 'Main Vocal' on a green background. Each character is highlighted with the primary colors of light – red, green, and blue – symbolizing the group.

The concept trailer, released alongside the posters, pre-releases 'Triangle's debut song 'Love Is', hinting at the actors' dramatic transformations that evoke 2000s idols through their dazzling performances, addictive melody, and signature hand gestures. This builds anticipation for the film's joyful energy, visual spectacle, and entertainment.

As members of 'Triangle', Kang Dong-won plays the leader 'Hyun-woo', Um Tae-goo plays the maknae 'Sang-goo', and Park Ji-hyun plays the center 'Do-mi'. They herald the birth of a new co-ed dance group, following in the footsteps of groups like Ssapsuri and All Day Project. Additionally, Oh Jung-se joins as the ballad singer 'Sung-gon', adding vitality to the film with his comedic performance.

The film is expected to deliver powerful laughter through the collaboration of About Film, the production company behind 'Extreme Job', and director Son Jae-gon of 'Unfinished'. 'Wild Thing' will premiere on June 3rd.
