Hwang Chansung's Real Fight Scenes Without Stunt Double

Singer and actor Hwang Chansung revealed behind-the-scenes details from the Netflix drama 'Bloodhounds 2,' stating that he performed the actual action sequences without a stunt double. Through the 'Global Q's' segment of the global media platform Bold Page, he shared his pride in the global success of 'Bloodhounds 2' and the joy of giving his best during filming.

Hwang Chansung highlighted boxing-based, high-difficulty action as a key element of 'Bloodhounds 2,' emphasizing that all actors performed the action themselves at real speed without slowing down the footage. He added that there were scenes where he was physically hit, and he would get bruises after filming.

To overcome the pressure of action acting, Hwang Chansung dedicated himself to training at an action school for 4 hours a day for about 5 months. Regarding the fight scene with actor Jung Jihoon, he revealed that they repeatedly practiced until they were out of breath to match the quality, and the scene was completed after several reshoots at Jung Jihoon's suggestion.

He explained that he interpreted the character of Yoon Tae-geom as a tired and lethargic person who collapsed after losing his wife and inheriting debt. Regarding his approach to his work, he stated that rather than enjoying it, he tends to constantly think about areas for improvement while monitoring alone.

Hwang Chansung emphasized teamwork, saying that there has never been a physical fight among the 2PM members; if a problem arises, they resolve it through conversation, and it ultimately ends with them chatting for three hours. For his goals in 2026, he expressed his hope for improvement in one or two areas and wishes for that process to be conveyed to the public.
