Moving 2 Rookie Won Gyubin Cast as Bongseok
Rookie actor Won Kyu-bin will join the popular Disney+ series "Moving" season 2 as Kim Bong-seok. Since Lee Jung-ha, who played Bong-seok in season 1, will not be able to participate in season 2 due to his enlistment in the Marine Corps, Won Kyu-bin will fill his shoes.
"Moving 2" recently held a full script reading with about 150 actors and production staff in attendance, and Won Kyu-bin is known to have attended this event as well. While Bong-seok, Hee-soo, and Kang-hoon were the main characters in the first half of season 1, season 2 is expected to place more emphasis on newly joining characters and the adult generation. Accordingly, it appears that a rookie actor with little public recognition has been uniquely cast in the role of Bong-seok.

Lee Jung-ha enlisted in the Marine Corps on January 26 and is scheduled for discharge in July 2027. His participation became difficult due to the timing of season 2's production and his enlistment. While Disney+ and his agency stated "unconfirmable" regarding the casting for security reasons, the industry is accepting the casting as a foregone conclusion, citing similarities in appearance between Lee Jung-ha and Won Kyu-bin.

Won Kyu-bin, born in 2004, debuted in 2025 with the web drama "High School International." Before his debut, he appeared on YouTube's "Hong Seok-cheon's Jewelry Box" in 2023 under the name Lee Min-gyu. Additionally, he is scheduled to appear as college student Lee Jae-in in the tvN drama "Working Soon!" in June.
"Moving 2" has officially begun production, having completed casting and held script readings, with a target release in 2027. The new season plans to expand on the existing universe with new characters and narratives. Attention is focused on how the variable of a lead actor change will affect the box office success of season 2.
