BIG Naughty Under Fire for Dissing Swings

Rapper Big Naughty has directly clashed with rapper Swings, releasing critical lyrics targeting him. On the 16th, a song by Big Naughty that targets Swings was released on the YouTube channel INDUSTRY KNOWS. The lyrics of the song contain allegations that Swings proposed an inappropriate relationship with a label artist, and that he sold neighboring rights without the artist's consent to pay off debts and purchase an expensive foreign car.

Through the lyrics, Big Naughty included phrases such as "He said if I slept with him, he'd push my label artist. Then he appears on YouTube, acting nice and smiling," "​After pushing a younger brother who's twenty, you suddenly said I deserved to be hit," and "​You sold the master rights, the neighboring rights, without my consent. To prevent your bankruptcy. And then bought a Porsche." Additionally, personal attacks such as "​Don't have children" were included.

In response, Swings refuted the allegations through a social media live broadcast. Regarding the claims about neighboring rights, Swings stated, "If I had stolen money, would Noel and Yang Hong-won have renewed their contracts?" and explained, "​I wasn't trying to make money, but if the artists' music revenue was taken away... I couldn't let the kids go bankrupt, so I sold the music."

According to Swings' explanation, the label borrowed approximately 12 billion won in advance from Kakao and sold some of the music for about 14 billion won to secure artist revenue. Swings stated that 9 to 10 billion won of this was the artists' share and was divided equally. Regarding the assault allegations, he claimed, "There's CCTV. (Big Naughty) was drunk and pushed me, so I was pushed. He claims to be a victim of violence, but he is the perpetrator."

Swings mentioned text messages exchanged with Big Naughty in the past, saying, "I thought we ended things well. This message is from last year, and this is how many times you've done this to me." He added, "​I hate that you keep distorting the facts because of your ego. I have decided that the remaining false claims are not worth responding to individually, so I will not answer them."
