IU & Byun Woo Seok's 10-Year-Old Couple Photo Surfaces
IU and Byun Woo-seok recreated a photo taken 10 years ago with the same pose, drawing attention. Disney Plus released photos of the two in a friendly pose on their official social media.
The two co-starred as lovers in the 2016 SBS drama 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo', and the recently released photos show them striking the same poses as the couple's photos from the drama at the time. In the drama, Byun Woo-seok played IU's boyfriend, a character who cheated, provoking viewers' anger.

In a recent promotional video, Byun Woo-seok joked, "The time I cheated was Prince Ian's past life," to which IU replied, "If I had known that, I would have grabbed him by the collar once in this life," eliciting laughter. IU also added, "Please watch to see if (Byun Woo-seok) makes up for it."
Meanwhile, a special preview video for MBC's 'Prince of the 21st Century' released on the 16th showed Sung Hee-joo (IU) and Prince Ian (Byun Woo-seok) becoming closer due to their contract marriage, raising fans' expectations.
