Mamamoo Reunites After 4 Years

The group Mamamoo is making a comeback as a full group after approximately 3 years and 8 months. Mamamoo will release their special single '​4WARD' on June 4th at 6 PM KST through various music sites. '4WARD' is a title that combines the number '4', symbolizing the four members, with 'FORWARD', meaning to advance. This is their first full group release in about 3 and 8 months since their 12th mini-album 'MIC ON' in October 2022, heralding a deepened harmony and musical synergy.

The title track '4 Flowers' is a medium-pop song that blends sensual guitar sounds with dense drum beats. The lyrics convey a message about unchanging values and relationships, like flowers that bloom and fade beautifully but are ultimately connected by a single root. The music video, released alongside the audio, will showcase Mamamoo at their brightest when they are together, reflecting on the past journey of the four members who have stood by each other for a long time, and depicting the new story they will write while looking in the same direction.

Debuting in 2014, Mamamoo gained immense popularity for their 'talented' image, built on their outstanding vocal harmonies and captivating performances, releasing numerous hit songs such as 'Decalcomanie', 'Starry Night', 'Um Oh Ah Yeh', 'HIP', 'Yes I Am', and 'Egotistic'. However, after Wheein's contract ended with their then-agency in 2021 and Hwasa's in 2023, leading them to move to new companies, the members have been focusing more on their individual activities. Each member has expanded their spectrum as artists by releasing solo albums that showcase their unique charms and musicality.

Mamamoo, having grown further as artists, is expected to create synergy once again as a team. Having achieved success as solo artists and now returning as a group, K-pop listeners are anticipating how the members' skills, honed through their solo activities, will be showcased in the new release '4WARD', and whether their chemistry, reuniting after nearly four years, will remain as strong as ever.

From June 19th to 21st, they will hold 'MAMAMOO 2026 WORLD TOUR [4WARD]' for three days at the Olympic Hall in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul, following the release of '4WARD' on June 4th. Starting with the Seoul concert, they plan to embark on a large-scale world tour, visiting major cities in Asia and the Americas.
