Song Ji-eun & Park Wi Reveal Newlywed Home

The newlywed home of Park Wi and Song Ji-eun was revealed on the SBS entertainment program 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 - You Are My Destiny'. On this episode, Park Wi and Song Ji-eun appeared alongside the couple Kim Ji-min and Kim Jun-ho.

The newlywed home featured a white-toned living room accented with colorful decor, and a warm touch added by a wood-toned island kitchen. Notably, Park Wi shared that the most important factor he considered when looking for a home as a wheelchair user was the absence of steps. This barrier-free design was meticulously implemented, including eliminating steps in the bathroom and installing a ramp at the entrance for wheelchair accessibility.

Song Ji-eun explained that she installed electric curtains considering Park Wi's difficulty in reaching buttons throughout the house while in his wheelchair. Park Wi added that he secured wheelchair movement and increased space utilization by adjusting the bathroom size and installing a sliding door. The heights of the sink and shower faucet were also optimized for Park Wi's daily routine.

The broadcast also showed the couple going on a date after a long time. Park Wi prepared an activity that people with disabilities could enjoy without limitations, and expressed his excitement as they neared their destination. However, during the date, Park Wi became emotional and shed tears as he opened up about his inner thoughts that he had difficulty expressing, and Song Ji-eun, watching him, also teared up. In the studio, viewers expressed admiration and positive reactions to the couple's display of emotion. Kim Jun-ho, who appeared as a special MC, reflected on his own married life and showed signs of self-reproach while watching the newlywed life of Park Wi and Song Ji-eun.
