BTS V's Mustache Performance Goes Viral

BTS member V has captivated fans with his charismatic performance and comedic acting in the music video for "2.0," a track from their fifth full album, 'ARIRANG.' This music video pays homage to director Park Chan-wook's film 'Oldboy,' with V expressing Park Chan-wook's signature noir sensibility in his own unique style.

V filled the screen with intense energy, transitioning between raw acting and powerful dancing. Notably, in the scene where he confronts characters in a hallway, he conveyed a resolve for revenge through his intense gaze and poses, while in the elevator scene where he changes outfits, he showcased a contrasting charm with hilarious, chaotic acting.

V, who has always had a desire to sport a mustache, donned a fake mustache in the music video and expressed his satisfaction, eliciting laughter. Fans also reacted positively to V fulfilling his wish, and V even posted a photo on Instagram titled "Jaeimse 2.0," reminiscent of the past "Jaeimse" meme.

The music video's cinematographer and executive producer also expressed special gratitude for V's passion. Director Lee Han-gyeol said, "Infinite thanks to the members who enjoyed it so much, especially Taehyung," and Executive Producer Jung No-el thanked him by saying, "Thanks for enthusiastically coming up with comedic ideas @thv (V)."
