Jang Keun Suk Refuses 130B Won Black Card

Actor Jang Keun-suk revealed an anecdote about trying three times to get a 'black card,' which is issued to only the top 0.05%. He mentioned a past period when he suffered from "celebrity syndrome," stating that during his time as a Hallyu star, he thought he deserved a black card and directly called the card company.

However, after going through a rigorous process including board of directors' review, he was rejected twice. He explained that he became determined and, after inquiring through his connections, was finally issued the black card on his third attempt.

Jang Keun-suk clarified the misconception that small transactions with a black card would lead to account suspension, adding, "All black cards have limits and allow for small purchases. I still use it frequently, like when buying banana milk at a convenience store, and as long as you pay the annual fee, it's fine."

Meanwhile, Jang Keun-suk is known to be a building owner worth 130 billion won, possessing multiple buildings in Seoul and Tokyo, Japan.
