BIGBANG's T.O.P Comeback Buzz

BIGBANG members G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung supported T.O.P's comeback as a singer. On the 3rd, Taeyang posted a photo of the jacket for T.O.P's first full-length solo album "ANOTHER DIMENSION" on his Instagram Story with the caption "ANOTHER DIMENSION Release." The following day, the 4th, G-Dragon joined in the support by posting the same jacket photo. Daesung also showed his support by sharing T.O.P's album jacket on his Instagram on the same day.

T.O.P made his comeback as a singer on the 3rd at 6 PM, releasing his first full-length solo album "ANOTHER DIMENSION" after approximately 13 years. This is his first solo album since the digital single "DOOM DADA" in 2013. BIGBANG debuted in 2006 and is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year. T.O.P officially left the group in April 2022 after participating in BIGBANG's digital single "Still Life."

The album "ANOTHER DIMENSION" features a total of 11 songs, with "I'm SUPER HAPPY! (Studio54)" and "DESPERADO" as double title tracks. T.O.P had previously suspended his activities in 2016 due to marijuana use. After leaving BIGBANG in 2023, he made remarks suggesting retirement from the entertainment industry. However, he resumed his activities in 2024 by appearing in the second season of the Netflix drama "Squid Game."

In a past interview, T.O.P stated regarding his return to BIGBANG, "I considered 'Still Life' as the last project," and mentioned feeling guilt and regret towards the members.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG, celebrating their 20th anniversary, is set to kick off their anniversary activities by performing on the main stage at Coachella in Indio, California, on the 12th and 19th. YG Entertainment also announced that they have agreed with the members to hold concerts in celebration of BIGBANG's 20th anniversary this year.
