Louis Vuitton is unveiling its first-ever aluminum suitcase, the 'Horizon Aluminum'. This new product was revealed to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the collaboration between Louis Vuitton and industrial designer Marc Newson, and it represents a new generation of luggage that combines Louis Vuitton's travel heritage with innovative engineering.

Featuring aluminum, a material known for its exceptional durability and recyclability, the Horizon Aluminum draws inspiration from Louis Vuitton's history of crafting aluminum trunks for explorers in the late 19th century. Simultaneously, it utilizes aluminum, Marc Newson's signature material, to propose a new travel experience for modern travelers.

The Horizon Aluminum incorporates a single-structure aluminum shell, the first in the luggage industry to be realized without rivets. The aluminum body, completed through stamping and laser cutting processes, features a three-dimensional rendition of Louis Vuitton's Monogram pattern. Beyond mere decoration, the Monogram enhances the structural integrity of the suitcase.

Additionally, a hidden hinge system replaces traditional external hinges, and a minimalist frame structure with minimized rivets creates a sleek silhouette. The interior features a flat main compartment for efficient storage, while ultra-wide telescopic handles and expandable wheels provide a stable and smooth travel experience.
