BTS Busan Concert Delayed 75 Minutes

The first day of the world tour "ARIRANG" concert by the group BTS in Busan on the 12th was delayed by about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Although it was originally scheduled to start at 7 PM, it only began at 8:15 PM. In response, their agency HYBE (Big Hit Music) issued an official apology through their fan platform.

In their apology, HYBE explained the reason for the delay: "The main performance start was delayed due to a combination of factors, including confusion with on-site guidance, bottlenecks in the fan gift distribution process, and delays in receiving merchandise." They added, "​We sincerely apologize once again for the great disappointment and inconvenience caused to the audience who waited for a long time to watch the performance."

Online, criticism followed regarding inadequate on-site operations along with the concert delay. Some audience members posted comments and videos pointing out issues such as a lack of ushers, insufficient entry wristbands, inadequate interpretation, and chaotic and dangerous situations during the gift distribution process.

Regarding the second concert held at the same venue on the 13th, HYBE stated, "We will thoroughly review and improve all on-site operations, including entry and gift distribution, to prevent the same congestion from occurring."

Meanwhile, the second concert, held on the 13th, also started late, beginning at 7:23 PM. This marks the second consecutive delay following the 12th. BTS held concerts celebrating their 13th debut anniversary with approximately 110,000 attendees at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on the 12th and 13th.
