BTS Busan Concert Delayed 75 Mins, Apology Issued

The Busan concert of the group BTS was delayed by 75 minutes, causing disappointment among fans. The concert, 'BTS WORLD TOUR ARIRANG IN BUSAN,' which was scheduled to begin at 7 PM on the 12th at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium, only started at 8:15 PM due to issues with audience entry.

The reason for the concert delay was identified as delayed audience entry due to a shortage of commemorative gifts. It is reported that a shortage of commemorative gifts intended for approximately 50,000 attendees led to long queues and a delay in entry.

The agency, HYBE, immediately issued an apology. HYBE stated, "We deeply apologize for the significant inconvenience caused by the delay in the concert's start," explaining that the delay was a result of a combination of factors including confusion in on-site guidance, bottlenecks in the queue during fan gift distribution, and delays in receiving merchandise.

HYBE promised to thoroughly inspect and improve all on-site operations to prevent similar congestion from occurring during the concert on the 13th. They also reiterated their apologies to the audience for the disappointment and inconvenience caused by the long wait to attend the concert.

Following the concert on the 12th, BTS will continue their world tour 'ARIRANG' at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium on the 13th. This venue holds significant meaning as it was the location of the concert to support Busan's bid for the 2030 World Expo, which was the group's last performance before members enlisted in the military, and it is also the hometown of members Jimin and Jungkook. Furthermore, the 13th marks BTS's debut anniversary, adding a special touch as the concert is held to coincide with their 13th anniversary.
