BoA's First Solo Fan Concert Sells Out

Singer BoA will hold her first solo fan concert since declaring her independence from SM Entertainment and embarking on her own path. The fan concert, titled ‘BoA THE MIC’, will take place on June 27th and 28th at the Yonsei University Auditorium in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.

This concert marks BoA's first official meeting with fans since starting her independent journey in a new environment. The stage is planned to focus solely on BoA's voice, performances, and her sincere feelings for her fans. In addition to performances of her mega-hit songs that have received great love, various segments will be prepared to allow her to communicate closely with fans, making it a particularly meaningful time for them.

Notably, BoA released her first digital single since going independent, ‘Ain’t No Hard Feelings’, on May 30th, signaling the start of her full-fledged activities. This new song, which captures BoA's unique deep emotions and her more mature musical capabilities, is receiving praise from both the public and critics.

BoA's agency, BApal, stated, "BoA is pouring her heart into preparing for this fan concert, personally participating from the planning stage to repay the fans who have steadfastly supported her for a long time." They added, "It will be the best performance where you can experience BoA's deepened musical world and sincere charm as she stands at a new starting point."

Meanwhile, BoA began her new activities after her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment, where she had been for 25 years since her debut, ended on December 31st of last year. She subsequently established BApal Entertainment in March of this year. At the time, the agency explained the reason for her solo venture, stating, "BoA chose a new structure to more clearly realize her musical direction."
