Heo Namjun's Shirtless Acting Highlighted

Actor Heo Nam-jun appeared on the YouTube channel 'YouTube Hah Ji-young' and revealed behind-the-scenes stories about the shirtless scene in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Wonderful World'. In the drama, Heo Nam-jun plays the role of Cha Se-gye, a villainous chaebol, and is working with Im Ji-yeon.

Hah Ji-young asked Heo Nam-jun, "It seems like being shirtless has become your signature." To this, Heo Nam-jun explained, "​Originally, there was no shirtless scene in our drama. I think the writer saw my previous work and humorously modified and added elements that received a good reaction." He added with a laugh, "​Once I take my shirt off, scenes requiring it keep coming."

When Hah Ji-young asked, "What does being shirtless mean to you, Heo Nam-jun?" Heo Nam-jun replied, "​Perhaps it's more important than acting." Furthermore, when asked if there would be a shirtless scene in his next project, Heo Nam-jun nodded, and Hah Ji-young joked, "​It seems like there's a separate contract for Heo Nam-jun's shirtless scenes." Heo Nam-jun has confirmed his appearance in the drama 'Whale by the Sea' alongside Moon Ga-young and Choi Woo-shik.

Heo Nam-jun described himself as an "energetic guy who insists he's a 'testosterone-fueled man'" and, when asked "​Do you think you're handsome?" he waved his hands and said, "​That's really not the case. I mean it." He mentioned, "​Someone like senior actor Won Bin is a prime example of a handsome person," and added, "​However, I do think I have charm. I'm still contemplating how much I should let go of myself."

He also expressed his hopes for marriage, stating, "Acting is a good profession for becoming a good person. I think the path to becoming a good husband and the path to acting well go hand in hand."
