TWS Mini Album Sells 1 Million Pre-orders

Group TWS has shown the potential to become their first ‘million-seller’ by surpassing 1.02 million pre-order copies ahead of the release of their 5th mini-album. This marks TWS's highest pre-order record to date, significantly exceeding the final pre-order sales of their previous mini-album, ‘play hard’ (648,182 copies). With about a week left until the album's release, they have already surpassed one million copies, drawing attention to the sales trend for this comeback.

Since their debut, TWS has consistently increased their album sales with each release. Starting with approximately 260,000 copies in initial sales for their debut album, they have shown a step-by-step growth curve, with their 2nd mini-album selling around 510,000 copies, their 3rd mini-album around 560,000, and their 4th mini-album around 640,000. This growth is attributed to TWS's unique musical style of ‘Boyhood Pop,’ their stage performance capabilities, and the steadily expanding fandom base and global influence.

Notably, the ‘Angtal Challenge’ for the 4th mini-album’s title track ‘OVERDRIVE’ spread online, generating significant buzz. This momentum led to long-term success on music charts, propelling TWS to become a ‘currently hot group’ that has secured both mainstream popularity and a strong fandom.

Interest in TWS continues from the international music scene as well. TWS was recently named the only K-pop artist on Rolling Stone's ‘FUTURE 25’ list for the year, and they have been invited to perform at Japan's largest music festival, ‘SUMMER SONIC 2026,’ in August.
