Venerable Beopryun & Noh Hong Chul Team Up for Variety Show
Venerable Beomnyun, a representative mentor in South Korea who has touched many hearts with his "immediate questions, immediate answers" approach, will be the protagonist of an entertainment program for the first time. SBS announced that they will be launching "Beomnyun Road - The Monk and the Guests," a road trip variety show about finding one's "true self," next month.
This broadcast will reveal a part of Venerable Beomnyun's pilgrimage to holy sites in India, which he has undertaken for 34 years, for the first time on an entertainment program. The production team stated, "He will show a different side than the mentor we knew," and added, "He plans to meet viewers with a more human and honest demeanor, such as riding rickshaws with the guests, sharing street food, and bursting into laughter at unexpected moments."
