The group NewJeans is showing signs of resuming activities after a long hiatus. The official channels were reactivated starting with the youngest member Hyein's birthday, marking the first news in about six months. In addition to birthday posts, Hyein interacted with fans by making a surprise visit to a birthday cafe organized by them. These actions have spread rapidly through online communities and are being seen by fans as a signal for the resumption of activities.

News of members Hanni, Haerin, and Hyein being spotted in Copenhagen, Denmark, further fuels speculation about a comeback. It is known that some staff members accompanied them at the time, leading to the possibility that these were schedules related to a new album rather than personal engagements. This is significant as it marks a change in the members' public activities since their return to ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE.

NewJeans' last official album was the Japanese debut single 'Supernatural', released in June 2024. Since then, there has been no new music for approximately 1 year and 10 months due to disputes with ADOR. Because of this long hiatus, the fandom 'Bunnies' views these signs of return as a welcome rain after a long drought. The five members had opened SNS accounts under the new activity name 'NJZ' and communicated with fans during the exclusive contract dispute with ADOR. However, the situation reversed when the court ruled in favor of ADOR, and subsequently, the members expressed their intention to return to ADOR.
