Hwanhee's First Outing in 20 Years With 74-Year-Old Mom

Singer Hwanhee was shown going out to a traditional market alone with his 74-year-old mother for the first time in 20 years. This was revealed on the KBS 2TV entertainment program 'Mr. House Husband Season 2'. Hwanhee wanted to live with his mother, but she had not given her permission.

Hwanhee thought of himself as an unfilial son and tried to move in with his mother, but she did not allow it. On the second day of his attempt to move in, Hwanhee tried to fix the broken bathroom toilet in the house himself. The lever string was broken, and the toilet wouldn't flush.

During this process, Hwanhee explained that he used the toilet repair as an opportunity, thinking, "If I visit often, greet her, and see her face, won't things gradually get better?" Lee Yo-won, watching the broadcast, was worried, but Eun Ji-won said, "That's easy to fix. You just need to reconnect the detached string."

Hwanhee boasted to his mother, "I'll fix it," and attempted to go to the market with his mother. At first, his mother refused, saying, "I'll just go alone," but after Hwanhee continued to persuade her, she revealed her true feelings, saying, "I couldn't refuse since my son wanted to come along, so I pretended to give in and took him."

Hwanhee expressed his joy at being able to go to the market with his mother, saying, "I was really happy. I felt like I had accomplished something!" It was an outing with his mother that had finally happened after nearly 20 years. His mother also prepared for the outing with her son by taking out her favorite clothes that she had dry-cleaned.
