Lee Jang-woo Defends Moral Responsibility

Lee Jang-woo's side explained the "Hoseokchon unpaid balance" controversy, stating, "Hoseokchon has already paid the full amount for the supplies to Mujin Co., Ltd., the contractual client, and the issue arose later when Mujin failed to pay A company."

His agency, Hunus Entertainment, announced, "There is no direct contractual relationship between A company and Hoseokchon or actor Lee Jang-woo, and the reports that actor Lee Jang-woo failed to pay the money are false." They added, "​The claim that 'Mujin was the owner of Hoseokchon' is also untrue; Mujin has never held shares in Hoseokchon and has no relation to actor Lee Jang-woo."

Lee Jang-woo's side revealed the payment details from Hoseokchon to Mujin and stated, "We feel a moral responsibility for not sufficiently examining the performance of the intermediary company within the transaction structure."

Regarding the supplier's attempts to contact him via social media, they explained, "Actor Lee Jang-woo's account is structured such that messages are sorted into a request folder, making immediate confirmation difficult. While it is true that the messages were not checked in a timely manner, it was not an intentional evasion or disregard."

Lee Jang-woo's side stated, "We express regret for the misunderstanding caused by false information and will provide the necessary cooperation to ensure the matter is resolved smoothly."
