Woo Seoyoon Crowned Miss Korea 2023 Runner-Up

Former professional basketball player and broadcaster Woo Ji-won's daughter, Woo Seo-yoon, won two titles, 'Seon' and 'Miss Daily Labs Award,' at the regional preliminary round of the Miss Korea pageant, advancing to the finals.

Woo Seo-yoon received the honors at the '70th Miss Korea Miss Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon Selection Competition' held on the 27th of last month. She shared her thoughts on her Instagram, stating, "​I am even more grateful and honored to have won the Seon and Daily Labs awards together on the glorious stage of the 70th anniversary." She added, "​I sincerely thank everyone who supported me," and "​I will never forget my gratitude and will continue to show my growth."

In the released photos, Woo Seo-yoon stands on stage wearing a pure white dress and a tiara, and also shows a confident appearance giving a speech in her contestant attire. Her clear features, tall stature, and elegant aura drew attention, and there have been reactions to her cool proportions, which resemble her father, Woo Ji-won.

Born in 2003, Woo Seo-yoon is Woo Ji-won's eldest daughter. She is currently majoring in Fine Arts at Tufts University in the United States. She previously appeared on SBS's variety show 'Star Junior Show Bungeoppang' and tvN's 'Nest Escape 3,' and recently gained recognition for her appearance on tvN STORY and E채널's variety show 'My Kid's Love 2.'

The Miss Korea finals are scheduled to be held on August 22nd.
