Actress and director Ku Hye-sun has launched a new pouch in the 12,000 won price range, continuing her ventures as an entrepreneur. Ku Hye-sun announced on social media (SNS) that she had completed design registration and launched a new pouch, revealing the design registration certificate and the pouch she designed. This pouch is being sold through a shopping platform.

Previously, Ku Hye-sun received a patent for 'Kurool,' a hair roller she developed. This product, unlike traditional round shapes, has a rectangular, flat design and garnered attention when developed during her master's program at KAIST's Graduate School of Science Journalism. The product, priced at 13,000 won for one and 25,000 won for a set of two, faced controversy over its high price. However, Ku Hye-sun explained that the initial manufacturing quantity was small, leading to high production costs, and she plans to lower the price burden through future discount events.

Following this, Ku Hye-sun released a handmade leather pouch for storing Kurool, causing a sell-out frenzy. This product, priced at 150,000 won, included two Kurool as free gifts. After selling out, she also introduced a handmade leather bag priced at 225,000 won. Despite being a high-priced item, this bag also recorded a sell-out.

Meanwhile, Ku Hye-sun graduated from KAIST's Graduate School of Culture Technology with a master's degree in engineering. Kurool, which she invented, was selected for the 2025 Excellent Patent Award, recognizing its technological value. Netizens have shown positive reactions to Ku Hye-sun's entrepreneurial endeavors, with comments such as "Her execution is amazing" and "Her image as an entrepreneur seems stronger than as an actress."
