Jisoo was initially scheduled to meet with reporters at the airport, showcasing her airport fashion, but her press schedule was completely canceled the day before her departure, on the 21st. The fashion marketing company cited "unavoidable internal circumstances" as the reason for the cancellation, but reactions suggest it was due to the burden of the controversy.

Jisoo appeared at the airport in comfortable attire, her face covered with a hat and mask, and briefly greeted the fans gathered there. Following recent reports that an individual identified as A, the family member of a famous girl group member, was arrested on charges of sexual harassment against a female BJ, speculation spread that A was Jisoo's older brother. The controversy escalated when a netizen claiming to be A's wife alleged domestic violence.

Jisoo's agency, Blissoo Entertainment, clarified through its legal representative, "The current allegations are completely unrelated to the artist and Blissoo, and the content circulating online is unconfirmed speculation or false information." However, the controversy continues as it was revealed that Jisoo's brother's name was initially listed in the credits for the Netflix drama 'Monthly Boyfriend,' in which Jisoo appeared, but was later removed. Netflix explained, "It was an error due to a mistake by the production company immediately after the work's release, and it was corrected promptly."
