Jung Dong Won Completes Marine Corps Training

Singer Jeong Dong-won's attendance at the Marine Corps 1327th recruit graduation ceremony has been revealed. KFN (formerly Defense TV) broadcast the Marine Corps 1327th recruit graduation ceremony live on YouTube on the 2nd. Jeong Dong-won, born in 2007, enlisted in the Marine Corps Training Command on February 23rd, underwent basic military training, and attended the graduation ceremony on this day. Captured on camera during the event, Jeong Dong-won showed a remarkably dignified appearance and healthy, tanned skin after his training.

Jeong Dong-won had previously expressed his desire to voluntarily enlist in the Marine Corps multiple times through platforms like YouTube. Upon seeing his first appearance since enlisting, fans sent messages of support, saying, "He's such a cool and admirable real soldier," and "I'm so proud I'm moved to tears."

During the graduation ceremony, Private Kim Jun-young's family was introduced as having served in the Marine Corps for four generations. Private Kim's great-grandfather (3rd recruit class), grandfather (173rd recruit class), and father (754th recruit class) all served in the Marine Corps.

A total of 1,319 recruits from the 1,327th class, who enlisted on February 23rd, completed their basic military training and specialized Marine Corps training, graduating on this day. Kim Soo-yong, commander of the training command, encouraged them, stating, "I am confident that the 1,327th recruit class will be the key players at this important time when the Marine Corps is establishing its status in the four-branch military system."

Jeong Dong-won sent a greeting to his fans via his Instagram, saying, "Victory! This is Private Jeong Dong-won. To all my 'Gomshin' (girlfriends of soldiers) in Woochong, I have successfully completed my training! Thank you for your concern and support! I will continue to work hard. Woochong, I miss you! Please wait a little longer. I am always sorry, grateful, and I love you." He also added a message of encouragement to his fellow recruits, "To all the platoon leaders at the new recruit training center, thank you so much for these six weeks!
