In the MBN audition program 'Muyeong Legend', Seongri faced elimination after losing a one-on-one death match against Lee Changmin.

Seongri was a strong contender for the championship in 'Muyeong Legend', a talented contestant who ranked first in the preliminary selection and second in the first round of the main competition. His opponent, Lee Changmin, is the main vocalist and singer-songwriter of 2AM. The panelists expressed surprise and difficulty regarding the matchup between the two.

This intriguing match came about by Seongri's choice. Seongri stated, "Life is a series of challenges," and expressed his desire to learn from his senior, Lee Changmin, by choosing him as his opponent. In response, Lee Changmin declared, "I will show you what 19 years of experience truly means."
