IU Reveals Story of Ignoring Park Myung Soo

Singer and actress IU revealed an episode about her first meeting with broadcaster Park Myung Soo during the filming of the MBC entertainment program 'Infinite Challenge'. IU shared this story while appearing with actor Byun Woo Seok in a video posted on the YouTube channel 'DdeunDdeun'.

MC Yoo Jae Suk recalled the time IU participated in 'Infinite Challenge' as a guest singer and explained the situation where Park Myung Soo said to IU, who came to sing a part instead of Jessica, "Who is that! Bring Jessica." Yoo Jae Suk expressed his surprise that IU, who was 17 at the time, was not intimidated at all and maintained a calm expression, saying the scene was unforgettable.

In response, IU calmly replied that she was not the type to be easily intimidated from a young age. Yoo Jae Suk said that Park Myung Soo apologizes to IU every time he sees her since that incident, drawing laughter. IU also added that Park Myung Soo has been apologizing for almost 20 years and described him as "a very kind person." IU explained that her personality is not easily hurt, and she thinks she inherited this trait from her father.

Meanwhile, the drama 'The Princess of the 21st Century', starring IU and Byun Woo Seok, is scheduled to premiere on the 10th.

In the past, MBC's 'All the Broadcasts in the World' aired Park Myung Soo spending his first two days and one night with anti-fans. On the broadcast, Park Myung Soo tried to win over the anti-fans, and one high school senior IU fan in particular pressed Park Myung Soo, mentioning the incident where he disrespected IU on 'Infinite Challenge' and his apology in 2015. Park Myung Soo explained that it was a mistake due to personal feelings with IU's company CEO at the time.
