Dr. Shin Episode 9: Post-Breakup Transformation

In the 9th episode of TV Chosun's weekend mini-series 'Doctor Shin,' Shin Jushin (Jung Yi-chan) broke off his engagement with Momo (Baek Seo-ra), who had Kim Jin-ju's brain. While Shin Jushin decided to break the engagement due to Momo's reckless behavior after her miscarriage, Momo, after the broken engagement, burned with revenge against Geum Bara (Joo Se-bin) and seduced Ha Yong-joong (Ahn Woo-yeon).

Ha Yong-joong's confession by the sea was Geum Bara's imagination. Ha Yong-joong told Geum Bara, "You are truly my number one," and Geum Bara, harboring feelings for Ha Yong-joong, ached, thinking, 'I'm so jealous of Momo.'

Later, Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) asked Geum Bara to arrange a meeting with Ha Yong-joong. Momo told Ha Yong-joong, "Please be my older brother. I was hit," revealing that she was hit by Shin Jushin because of the miscarriage. When Geum Bara sided with Shin Jushin, Momo poured out her resentment towards Geum Bara and pleaded with Ha Yong-joong for help, making Geum Bara anxious. Momo provoked Geum Bara, saying, "​Are you worried? That I might get more attention?" inwardly cheering for her revenge.

At the same time, Shin Jushin was drinking alone, recalling happy times with Geum Bara. Shin Jushin, who had asked Geum Bara about Momo's condition and Kim Jin-ju's true nature, reminisced about the time he received Geum Bara's congratulations while talking about a dream that hinted at a son. Returning to reality, Shin Jushin threw his glass, shattering it, and burst into anger towards Kim Jin-ju, shouting, "You can't even carry a child properly!"

When Shin Jushin reprimanded Momo (with Kim Jin-ju's brain) about the miscarriage, Momo reacted sharply, saying, "You don't like me, do you? You regret doing the surgery, don't you?" Despite Shin Jushin's suggestion to "try to have another child," Momo insisted on breaking the engagement, saying, "​Let's just break off the engagement and end it. I don't want to live getting hit." Momo told Shin Jushin, "I'll keep your secret. To the grave," and Shin Jushin, seeming to grasp Momo's intentions, retorted, "​Are you excited about embracing the world?"
