Heo Namjun: 21st Century Prince Yeo Un
Actor Heo Nam-jun made a special appearance in MBC's Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Grand Princess of the 21st Century’ as Kim Yeon-jun, a man on a blind date. ‘The Grand Princess of the 21st Century’ is a romance drama set in a constitutional monarchy Korea, depicting the story of Seong Hee-ju (played by IU), a woman who has everything but feels stifled by her commoner status, and Prince Ian (played by Byun Woo-seok), a prince who has nothing and is therefore sad.

In the second episode aired on the 11th, Yeon-jun, played by Heo Nam-jun, went on a blind date with Hee-ju at the Royal Art Museum. Yeon-jun, who had previously shown understanding when Hee-ju suddenly changed their meeting schedule, continued his generous consideration during the blind date. His awkward and naive demeanor as he observed Hee-ju engrossed in her work brought smiles to viewers, and his efforts to continue the conversation with a tense voice and flushed face created a unique chemistry.

However, the atmosphere didn't last long. Hee-ju treated her relationship with Yeon-jun strictly as business, pushing him by asking, "Can you dedicate your entire being so I can reach the very top?" Flustered by Hee-ju's arrogance and continued rudeness, Yeon-jun eventually expressed his refusal, saying, "I don't think our marriage will work out," leaving a bitter aftertaste and regret.
Heo Nam-jun was praised for leaving a strong impression despite his brief appearance, realistically portraying the naive side of a character flustered by the other's assertiveness.
