Actor Byun Woo-seok is returning to the drama 'The Grand Heir of the 21st Century' after approximately two years. At the production presentation held at the Josun Palace Gangnam in Seoul on April 6th, Byun Woo-seok shared his feelings about his return and his determination for acting.

'The Grand Heir of the 21st Century' is a story set in a constitutional monarchy in 21st-century South Korea, depicting a romance about breaking down social status as a woman of common birth who has everything, and a prince who is the son of the king but cannot have anything, forging their own destinies. Byun Woo-seok will play Prince Ian, the second son of the royal family, and will be working with IU.
Regarding his return after approximately two years since his previous work, the tvN drama 'Lovely Runner', Byun Woo-seok said, "I am grateful for all the interest and love. Rather than feeling burdened, I hope to receive even more love." He also revealed his sense of responsibility as an actor, stating, "I intend to develop further and do my best with the attention I'm receiving."
