Korean Singer Song Ga-in Donates $11,370 in 30 Mins

Singer Song Ga-in held her first flea market and raised 11.37 million won in just 30 minutes. The entire proceeds will be donated to underprivileged elders.

In a video posted on her YouTube channel "Song Ga-in," Song Ga-in mentioned the need to declutter her home as the reason for holding the flea market. She had initially set a target of 1 million won but achieved a much higher profit than expected.

Song Ga-in revealed that she put a lot of effort into the flea market, spending two weeks sorting items daily from 10 AM to midnight. She sold various items she cherished, such as lighting fixtures, medical equipment, glasses, skincare devices, and food disposers.

The flea market venue was crowded with fans who saw the announcement on social media, and they surprised Song Ga-in by purchasing most of the items within 30 minutes of the start. Song Ga-in elicited laughter by saying, "I could have charged more," in response to the fans' enthusiastic reaction and expressed regret that almost everything was sold.

The final proceeds from the flea market amounted to 11.37 million won, which is more than ten times her initial goal of 1 million won. Song Ga-in promised to ensure the donation is well-delivered to the underprivileged and expressed her gratitude to the fans who participated, stating that the proceeds were not for her.
