Na Ha-eun Debuts with Unchild, Gaining Attention

The group UNCHILD, composed of Park Yeyoon, Hiky, Tina, Ako, Yvon, and Nahyun, will officially debut in the music industry on the 21st at 6 PM with the release of their debut single, ‘We Are UNCHILD’. This album not only marks the team's beginning but also carries a message of rejecting 'ordinariness'. Through the prefix 'UN-', they aspire to showcase their unique individuality without being bound by existing frameworks.

The title track, ‘UNCHILD’, is an electronic pop genre based on garage sound. It blends rough guitar riffs and electronic sounds to convey a message of stepping into new challenges beyond fear. Producer Rado participated in the song, enhancing its quality. The music video teaser left a strong impression immediately after its release, revealing the team's identity through a concept that reinterprets school as a 'punk school,' along with their free-spirited energy and unconventional performance.

The B-side track, ‘ENERGY’, uses house-based rhythms and synth sounds to express excitement and stimulation, intuitively portraying the emotions of encountering a new world. UNCHILD has showcased their presence through teaser content featuring neon-colored visuals and a unique 'freaky' mood. Their concept, which breaks existing norms, is drawing attention for the changes it might bring to the 5th generation idol market.

UNCHILD is a new girl group from HIGHUP Entertainment, the first in about six years since STAYC. Expectations are high as Nahyun, known as a 'dance prodigy,' and Park Yeyoon, who appeared on the survival program 'Iland2,' are part of the group.
