Unchild Debut Song Performance: Watch Now

The group UNCHILD (Park Yaeun, Hikki, Tina, Ako, Yvon, Nahyun) attended the media showcase for their debut single ‘We Are UNCHILD’ held at Bluesquare in Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 21st. The debut song 'UNCHILD' is an electronic pop track with a distinctive garage sound, expressing a bold message of overcoming obstacles like fear and moving forward into new adventures.

UNCHILD released music video teasers for their debut single ‘We Are UNCHILD’ title track ‘UNCHILD’ on the 18th and 20th. The video captured the unique mood of ‘PUNK SCHOOL’, reinterpreting school spaces with UNCHILD’s distinct style, reinterpreting classic punk in a new and sensual way, exuding freedom and positive energy. The strong color contrast using neon colors and bold directing, combined with UNCHILD’s energy, left a powerful impact.

The debut song ‘UNCHILD’ combines rough electric guitar riffs with psychedelic electronic sounds to complete UNCHILD’s powerful declaration of intent. Choreographers Renan, Baby Zoo, and Root, who have collaborated with numerous K-pop artists, took charge of the choreography direction, and the members also participated in choreographing the dance break section, showcasing a high-quality performance.

UNCHILD is a 6-member multinational group, and Nahyun, who previously appeared on SBS’s ‘Star King’, joined as the main dancer, drawing attention. At the showcase, Nahyun cited teamwork as a differentiating factor from other groups, stating that exchanging ideas with team members and creating performances together is their unique strength.

UNCHILD’s debut single ‘We Are UNCHILD’ will be released on various online music sites at 6 PM on the 21st. The album title ‘We Are UNCHILD’ contains the team’s ambition and spirit to sublimate their unique individuality into special energy without being bound by fixed frameworks, through the prefix ‘UN-’ which rejects ‘ordinariness’.
