BJ Gujeubseyon's Collab Cancelled, Humiliated
BJ Gwajeubseyeon (real name: In Seyeon) is experiencing a series of canceled brand collaborations.
Cosmetics brand Sidmool launched a four-item set in collaboration with Gwajeubseyeon on the 19th, but due to strong backlash from its existing customer base, the collaboration was terminated the following day. Sidmool CEO Min Jung-ki posted an apology on the brand's official cafe, stating, "There was an insufficient judgment that betrayed the values Sidmool has pursued and the trust of our customers." This collaboration was reportedly initiated by Gwajeubseyeon.

This is not the first instance of a collaboration with Gwajeubseyeon being canceled due to consumer backlash. In September 2024, broadcaster Lee Suji's YouTube channel 'If You Get Drunk, You're an Imposter' released a preview of Gwajeubseyeon's appearance, but after receiving a flood of complaints, the segment was deleted, and the episode featuring Gwajeubseyeon was ultimately not released.

Furthermore, photo booth brand Photoism also announced a collaboration with Gwajeubseyeon in November of last year, but faced strong protests, deleted related posts without any specific statement, and the promised collaboration frames have not been released to date.
Gwajeubseyeon is known to earn hundreds of millions of won in revenue on internet broadcasting platforms, and previously stated on a YouTube channel that she earned approximately 3 billion won during her peak.
