Curtis Mini's 2nd EP 'ACAI' Music Video Drops

Boy group CORTIS has revealed a music video for "ACAI," a track from their second mini-album, showcasing their honest tastes and emotions. The music video was created based on animatics (storyboard videos) produced by the members themselves, and features their vivid acting and creative world-building.

"ACAI" is a song inspired by acai bowls, the members' favorite food they ate daily while working on their new album. The lyrics express their ambition to become "an artist with roots, just like an acai bowl that tastes good even with just the base, without fancy toppings." All members participated in writing and composing the song, with Martin and Seonghyeon also credited as producers.

The music video prominently features donkeys, which are frequently mentioned in the lyrics. Scenes include the members crossing a desert with a donkey, as well as various witty images set in locations like a hospital, a farm, and a golf course. These disparate spaces and times are connected through the acai berry, and the members' natural expressions and humorous acting add plausibility to the surreal situations.

CORTIS has demonstrated their growth by achieving sales of over five times their previous work (2.31 million copies) with their second mini-album 'GREENGREEN,' released on the 4th. The title track 'REDRED' is also receiving positive feedback, rising to 4th place on the Melon daily chart.

Additionally, CORTIS plans to release a conceptual performance film focusing on the choreography for "ACAI" on the 12th at 9 PM.
