Kim Moo-yeol Teases Lee Sung-min with Advice

Actor Kim Mu-yeol spoke about his chemistry with his co-stars in the Netflix series '​Honest Candidate 2'. Kim Mu-yeol revealed this during his appearance on SBS Power FM's 'Park Ha-sun's Cine Town' broadcast on June 4.

Regarding his third collaboration with Lee Sung-min, Kim Mu-yeol said, "I felt very comfortable whenever I met him." He explained that while 'Honest Candidate 2' required a period of unfamiliarity and adjustment due to its nature of having to act with new actors in each episode, Lee Sung-min's welcoming and comforting presence was a great source of strength. Kim Mu-yeol also shared an anecdote where he "acted too playfully" with Lee Sung-min, leading Lee Sung-min to laugh and tell him, "Do whatever you want."

He praised Jin Ki-joo and Pyo Ji-hoon, with whom he worked for the first time through this project, saying, "I was surprised by how well they both did and how much fun they were." Kim Mu-yeol commented on Jin Ki-joo, "She had to do a lot of action and play a character who is unpredictable, but the gap between that and the Jin Ki-joo I knew was huge. Seeing her pull it off made me feel reassured. I felt like I could entrust anything to her." About Pyo Ji-hoon, he expressed his affection, saying, "He was a friend who was truly passionate and dedicated to acting, to the extent of running a theater company and putting on performances. I was surprised by how well he portrayed the character. He did even better on screen. I fell for him and became a fan."

Meanwhile, the Netflix series 'Honest Candidate 2' depicts the satisfying and refreshing true education delivered by the Department of Educational Rights Protection, established to protect the collapsing educational authority and 현장 in South Korea due to students, teachers, and parents who cross the line. It is scheduled to be released on June 5 at 5 PM.
