Kim Moo-yeol's 'Mr. Barcode' Charms Audiences

Actor Kim Mu-yeol has been offered the lead role in SBS's new drama '​Mr. Barcode', following his appearance in the Netflix series 'The Bequeathed'. 'Mr. Barcode' is a hard-boiled action drama about a top black agent who is suddenly fired after gaining a daughter, and then becomes a convenience store owner to take down villains.

In the recently released Netflix series 'The Bequeathed', Kim Mu-yeol played Na Hwa-jin, a supervisor at the Teachers' Rights Protection Bureau, leading the project's success with his nuanced emotional acting, as well as his comedic and action performances. Through this work, he reached his peak, surpassing 1 million followers on his personal social media.

Kim Mu-yeol has currently confirmed his appearances in the new Netflix series 'First Doctor' and 'Grandma'. If he joins 'Mr. Barcode' as well, he is expected to showcase his potential as an actor once again by presenting a new character in the action drama genre. The release date for 'Mr. Barcode' has not yet been determined.
