K-pop Star Chuu Throws First Pitch at Hanwha Baseball Game

Singer CHUU will attend the home game between the Hanwha Eagles and LG Twins at Hanwha Life Insurance Ballpark in Daejeon on the 9th, where she will throw the ceremonial first pitch and sing the national anthem.

This event is being held as 'Orange Fan Day', organized by the Hanwha Eagles to express their gratitude to the fans. CHUU is known to be a long-time fan of the Hanwha Eagles, and this will be her fourth time throwing a first pitch for the team.

Previously, CHUU earned the nickname 'Victory Fairy' after the team won the games in which she threw the first pitch. CHU expressed her feelings, saying, "It is a true honor to be able to participate in the meaningful Orange Fan Day. I will wholeheartedly cheer for the Hanwha Eagles' victory."

Meanwhile, the Hanwha Eagles will play a three-game home series against the LG Twins from the 8th to the 10th. In addition to 'Orange Fan Day' on the 9th, they will also hold 'Kids Day' on the 10th. On 'Kids Day', members of the kids club will participate in the first pitch, ceremonial first hit, and singing of the national anthem. Furthermore, throughout the three-game series, they plan to host '​Nerf Brand Day', offering various programs such as a tasting zone, game events, and a photo booth.
