Game BJ Nanningu (real name Han Tae-sik), a first-generation internet broadcaster, has passed away at the age of 46. News of his death was announced on the 6th through a death notice released by fellow BJ Monkey on his personal channel. The notice included a message from the bereaved family stating, "We are sharing the sad news that the late Han Tae-sik has passed away," and it was confirmed that Nanningu died on the 5th.

Fellow BJ Monkey expressed his sorrow, saying, "He was an older brother I truly liked and respected." He added, "I worked harder and tried my best watching him, and now I am so upset and disappointed." Furthermore, he expressed his grief, stating, "Why did you make such a bad choice over debt? He was an older brother I truly respected, and honestly, I am angry," and "What sin have the remaining family members committed?"
