ILLIT's Moka Returns for Full Group Stage

Girl group ILLIT member Moka showed tears on a music show stage after returning from a hiatus due to health issues, causing concern among fans. The other members expressed their gratitude to Moka, adding a heartwarming touch.

ILLIT recently concluded their five-week promotions for their new song "It's Me" with their final performance on SBS's "Inkigayo."

Moka, who had temporarily halted activities due to health reasons, rejoined the group for this final stage, meeting fans as a complete five-member unit. Moka had paused her activities on April 20th due to health concerns, during which ILLIT promoted as a four-member group. Her agency, Belift Lab, stated that Moka focused on recovery and received medical advice that she could resume activities within reasonable limits. They also explained that Moka herself strongly wished to meet fans before the end of promotions, leading to the decision for her to participate starting from "Music Bank."

However, eyewitness accounts of Moka tearing up during the performance and being assisted by security personnel after the stage raised concerns about her return process. Furthermore, the exclusion of ILLIT's performance video from the "Inkigayo" official YouTube channel sparked criticism, questioning whether her return was a rushed decision before full recovery.

In response, member Yoona shared on the fan communication platform Weverse, "It was very disappointing to make a comeback as four members, but I'm glad we could perform as a complete five-member group in the end," expressing her gratitude to the fans. She also reassured fans by telling Moka, "You worked so, so hard."
