Korean Singer Ahn Jiyoung's Cherry Blossom Hit Royalties Revealed

Appearing on the MBC entertainment show "Radio Star," BOL4's Ahn Jiyoung revealed that she earns a significant amount of royalties from songs that are popular by season. Yoo Se-yoon sparked curiosity about her royalties by mentioning that Ahn Jiyoung changes her bank account every season.

Ahn Jiyoung explained that songs like "Bom (Spring)" in spring, "Travel" in summer, "Some (Flirt)" in autumn, and "Tell Me How You Feel" in winter help with her royalty income. When Kim Gura asked if it was on the same level as Busker Busker's "Cherry Blossom Ending," those around her replied, "It's about that much," and Ahn Jiyoung smiled.

Yoo Se-yoon mentioned that Ahn Jiyoung has nine songs with over 100 million streams, and she singled out "Travel" as the song that brings in the most income. Ahn Jiyoung added that "Travel" is even played on airplanes.

Meanwhile, Nam Gyu-ri humorously asked Ahn Jiyoung how much she earns from song streams, drawing laughter. Ahn Jiyoung responded with a laugh and mentioned Nam Gyu-ri's self-composed song "Samgyeopsal-ah" (Pork Belly). When Nam Gyu-ri suggested they sing it together, Ahn Jiyoung readily agreed to even cover it.

On this broadcast, Nam Gyu-ri confessed that she has been a carnivore from birth, stating that she doesn't eat much besides Korean food or salads when she eats. The MCs expressed surprise, having assumed she only ate salads due to her slim appearance.
