In the 6th episode of JTBC's drama 'Rookie Chairman Kang', Jeon Hye-jin's (as Kang Jae-kyung) attempt to take over the chairmanship was disrupted by the appearance of Lee Ju-myung (as Kang Bang-geul). The broadcast depicted a fierce war of nerves surrounding the next chairman position of Choi Sung Group.

Attending the regular board meeting, Kang Jae-kyung proposed ending the acting chairman system and electing the next chairman, saying, "I ask those who will nominate me, Kang Jae-kyung, as the next chairman, to raise their hands."

However, Kang Yong-ho's wife, Jo Sun-hee (played by Yoon Yoo-sun), opposed President Kang Jae-kyung's inauguration as chairman, causing a stir in the meeting room. Jo Sun-hee insisted on maintaining the acting chairman system, adding, "​The Chairman will wake up soon. I even heard news that he is improving."

Meanwhile, the executive director of the Strategic Planning Office stated that they would prevent external pressure shaking Choi Sung by strengthening the acting chairman system and reorganizing the Strategic Planning Team directly under the chairman's office. In response, Kang Jae-kyung expressed discomfort at not knowing the team members or their work.

Later, Lee Sung-wook (as Park Bong-gi), Hwang Jun-hyun (as Lee Jun-young), and Kang Bang-geul (as Lee Ju-myung) from Choi Sung Trading's materials team were introduced as members of the Strategic Planning Team. Notably, Kang Bang-geul surprised everyone by revealing herself as "Chairman Kang Yong-ho's youngest daughter."
