Park Dong Bin Funeral: Wife Lee Sang Yi, Daughter Left Behind

Actor Park Dong-bin (real name Park Jong-moon) has passed away at the age of 56. The funeral procession was held on the morning of the 1st at the Domin Funeral Hall in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province. His final resting place will be at the Woosung Park Cemetery, following a stop at Yongin Pyeongon Forest.

Actors Park Hae-soo, Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun, and Dr. Oh Eun-young sent wreaths to mourn the deceased.

Park Dong-bin was found deceased on the afternoon of the 29th of last month in a restaurant within a commercial building in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. It is known that this was the location where the deceased had been preparing to open a business until recently. According to the police investigation, no evidence of criminal activity or any notes that could help determine the circumstances were found.

Born in 1969, the deceased debuted in the 1998 film "Shiri" and gained recognition for his roles in dramas such as "​Rude Age" and "​The Daughters of Kim's Pharmacy." Notably, in the 2012 drama "​I Loved You," a scene where he spat out orange juice became a hot topic online, earning him the nickname "​Juice Man."

The deceased married fellow actor Lee Sang-yi in 2020 and had a late-in-life daughter in 2023. Last year, he appeared on Channel A's "​Oh Eun-young's Golden Clinic" and revealed that his daughter suffers from Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a congenital heart defect, receiving much support.
