Actress Ki Eun-se is embroiled in controversy over causing inconvenience to her neighbors due to ongoing interior construction preparations for her move. One netizen claimed, "Looking at the construction site next door is truly a sight to behold. It's been under renovation for months because actress Ki Eun-se is moving in, and the alley in front of the house is occupied by construction vehicles, making it difficult for residents to even pass with one car. There's construction waste and dust everywhere, and even the neighborhood cleaning isn't being done properly."

The netizen further stated, "At first, they said it would be finished by mid-April, but now when asked, they've changed their story to mid-May, or that they don't know when it will end." They criticized, "​Are they trying to brush off these inconvenient situations because they are celebrities? Where does that sense of entitlement, thinking the sacrifices of their neighbors are a given, come from?" Along with their complaint, they also released photos of construction vehicles filling the alley.

Ki Eun-se's agency, Sublime, stated in response, "After becoming aware about two weeks ago that some residents experienced inconvenience with parking and cleaning during the interior construction at the villa where she is scheduled to move, we apologized to the resident who raised the complaint, completed the neighborhood cleaning, and quickly took measures regarding the inconvenience of vehicle traffic." They added, "​Since the complaint arose, we have been continuously communicating with nearby residents and coordinating aspects related to the move and construction to prevent further inconvenience." They concluded by saying, "​We will be more attentive and manage the situation carefully."

Ki Eun-se has been sharing updates on her move and remodeling of a detached house in Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul, through her personal YouTube channel. As the controversy spread, Ki Eun-se posted a photo of grilled fish on her personal account with the caption "I wish the world were warmer," which garnered attention.

Netizen A later revealed in an additional post that they had received an apology DM from the agency, but expressed their feelings, "It's a bit disheartening that they only started taking action now, when there was no action taken when I previously spoke to the relevant parties." They continued to express dissatisfaction, stating that there was no visible effort to improve, but later reported that after a visit from the site manager, they received a promise to rectify the parking and waste issues.
