Singer Im Hero has taken the No. 1 spot for all-time cumulative streaming on Melon, South Korea's largest music platform. This surpasses the record previously held by BTS, making Im Hero the first domestic artist to exceed 13.5 billion cumulative streams on Melon.
Im Hero overtook BTS's record as of 9 AM on the 9th, and by 9 AM on the 11th, he had surpassed 13.5 billion cumulative streams, widening the gap. It holds significant meaning that a solo artist has surpassed the No. 1 all-time cumulative streaming record on Melon, which BTS had held for a long time.
