Jeon Hyun-moo Recruiting Im Young-woong for Hidden Singer 8

JTBC's 'Hidden Singer 8' is set to premiere on the 31st. The program features singing battles between representative Korean singers and vocal mimics who perfectly replicate the singer's voice and singing style. Jeon Hyun-moo and Song Eun-yi, veterans of 'Hidden Singer,' expressed their affection and commitment to the show.

Jeon Hyun-moo revealed his special feelings for the program, stating, "In today's era with so much content, 'Hidden Singer' seems to be the only show that many people seek out for a long time and feel sad when it ends." While there might be expectations and concerns about his return after four years, he heightened anticipation by saying, "Incredible things are happening" during the four recordings that have already taken place.

Song Eun-yi also shared that she had been waiting for a new season of 'Hidden Singer' for four years, and commented that the skills of the vocal mimics this season were "no joke." She added that her worries before filming were unfounded and expressed her determination to "​capture even the parts that might be missed" during the deduction process with different celebrity judges each episode.

Famous singers such as Shim Soo-bong, Kim Jang-hoon, Kim Hyun-jung, Jung-in, Lee Seung-gi, Yoonha, Davichi's Lee Hae-ri, Ha Hyun-woo, and 10CM will appear on 'Hidden Singer 8.' Among them, Jeon Hyun-moo picked the first episode's guest, Shim Soo-bong, as the singer he is most looking forward to. He expressed curiosity about Shim Soo-bong's reaction when she meets the five vocal mimics, given that she rarely appears on broadcasts and has never seen anyone impersonate her.

As Jeon Hyun-moo garnered attention in past seasons for his hands-on approach to casting, interest is focused on whether he is currently recruiting any singers for this season. He surprised everyone by mentioning singer Lim Young-woong, stating, "​I am diligently recruiting someone, but it hasn't been successful yet. I am continuing to persuade them." Jeon Hyun-moo vowed, "​I will win them over with sincerity and definitely bring them to 'Hidden Singer'."
