Maid-Beast Couple Scammed Out of $70K

MBC's 'Oh Eun Young Report - Marriage Hell' featured the story of the 'Maid and the Beast Couple' in its 163rd episode. The couple complained that they were exhausted by their relationship, which felt like that of a boss and subordinate, and expressed a desire to escape from the husband. The couple, who both work as trainers, revealed that they met as team leader and employee at a gym and later developed a romantic relationship.

While the couple was sharing a meal at home and having an honest conversation, the husband said to his wife, "If that situation hadn't happened, it wouldn't be this difficult right now." At this, the wife's expression drastically worsened, and the husband revealed that they had been scammed, saying, "​Because we were scammed, our situation rapidly deteriorated."

The husband explained, "One day, my wife was suddenly crying. At that time, she was scammed in a coin trading room, and all our assets were lost." The wife added, "​They scammed us by pretending to teach investment methods in a chat room and inducing fake transactions."

The husband revealed the extent of their losses, stating, "My wife invested all our assets without saying a word, and 70 million won disappeared in just a few days," shocking the studio.
